How To Get A Unique Islander Number?
Any interested party, if they meet the required conditions, can visit the following website and register to acquire a U.I.N. (Unique Islander Number).
Step 2 Acceptance of the Terms of Use directs the interested party to the AADE site, where the party should sign in with their own taxisnet details.
Step 3 Upon entering the service, the interested party authorizes the Ministry of Shipping to access their information by clicking on the “Authorization” button.
Step 4 Entering the final stage of the process, the interested party should check that their personal information is correct and fill in all necessary contact information and IBAN, and then select “SUBMIT VERIFICATION REQUEST”.
Step 5 Once all stages have been successfully completed, the interested party is transfered to the page that contains their U.I.N. The U.I.N. can also be printed out. For large families, U.I.N. is issued for each family member and appears on the same list.
Finally, passengers with U.I.N. must show it, along with their ID, at the ticket office or register it on our website during online ticketing, in order to inform the Ministry’s system and then receive their refund on time.
Where do I use my U.I.N. on the page?
There are two points where you can use your Unique Islander Number on the website.
