Igoumenitsa is a coastal city in north-western Greece and the biggest passenger port after Piraeus in the whole of Greece. It is a station as from the inland port of Igoumenitsa one can travel to Corfu and Paxos.

The town and port of Igoumenitsa are built around a large bay and the landscape combines mountain and sea. Making a stop in Igoumenitsa is worth taking a walk on the seaside street of the city or sitting for coffee and food in the traditional shops.
